Chlamydia and Gonorrhea
Chlamydia and gonorrhea are common bacterial STDs (sexually transmitted diseases) in the United States. Both are treatable with antibiotics, but if left untreated, they can cause serious health problems in the future.
Chlamydia and gonorrhea often have minimal or no symptoms. If symptoms do occur, they can include: abnormal vaginal or penile discharge, burning with urination, abdominal or pelvic pain, and more. Because they often do not show symptoms, the best way to know if you have them is to test for them. Furthermore, the symptoms of gonorrhea and chlamydia can be similar to symptoms of other STDs, so you may want to consider the Comprehensive STD Panel- this includes testing for chlamydia, gonorrhea, herpes, syphilis, HIV, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C.
