How will I receive my test results?

You will receive your test results through the e-mail address provided in your order. Some store locations use our test results portal. Some store locations provide test results through secure e-mail.

Do I need to make an appointment?

No, we offer a few options to make it most convenient for you. You can just walk in during our work-friendly hours; or, you can schedule an appointment to accommodate all tested parties’ calendars.

If possible, it is preferred to have the child’s mother participate in the Paternity Test as well, since she contributed 50% of her DNA to the child.

This is an informational Paternity Test. All tested parties may schedule an appointment or walk into one of our locations for testing. Our friendly Medical Assistants will collect the samples needed for the test. As an alternative, some store locations offer Home Collection Kits. If the Home Collection Kits are available for online purchase at your selected store, you will see a “Buy At Home Kit” button on this page. After you complete your purchase, a kit will be sent to the address(es) you designate and you can collect the samples yourself, then ship them directly to the lab for testing.

The basic test kit contains collection supplies for 1 child and 1 alleged father. Test results from the Home Collection Kits are not legally admissible.

Non Invasive Prenatal Paternity Legal (NIPP)

The Non-Invasive Prenatal Paternity Test can be used to determine the biological father of a child before the child is born. It requires a blood sample from the mother and a cheek swab from the alleged father. The fetal DNA is then separated from the mother’s DNA to create a DNA profile for the fetus. The DNA profile of the fetus is then tested against the alleged father’s DNA profile. This test can be performed at 7 weeks of pregnancy or later.

The results from this non-invasive prenatal paternity test can be used for legal purposes.
